Our Staff

Penny was born and raised in Seymour, IN, and is a graduate of Seymour Christian Academy. She graduated from Professional Career Institute in Dental Assisting. She is CPR certified and holds a Dental Radiology License. Penny has been working as a dental assistant at this office for more than 31 years.

Penny and her husband Doug have been married for 32 years. She’s very proud of her two children and the recent addition of her first granddaughter. When not at the dental office she enjoys crafting, camping, fishing, traveling in her jeep, but most of all she loves spending time with family and friends.

Penny is our “Mrs. Fix It” at the office. If there’s something that isn’t working she is the go-to gal for help! As the longest standing employee at the office, we rely on her wealth of knowledge and expertise.

Whitney was born and raised in Seymour, IN. She recently completed her Expanded Duties Dental Assisting Certification from Dental Office Training by Lynn in Fishers, IN.  She also holds a Dental Radiology License.

Whitney and her husband Quenton have two beautiful children, Avri and Weston.  You will never catch Whitney without perfectly coiffed hair and makeup, so it should come as no surprise that she is also a licensed cosmetologist.

Whitney’s young children take up most of her spare time, but when she does get free time she enjoys dinner dates with her husband and shopping with her family.  Her genuine care and concern for people are true assets to our team!

Wendy was born and raised in Seymour, Indiana. She graduated from Seymour High School and furthered her education at Ball State University.  She has worked in the dental field since 1992, joining this practice in March of 1995. As Front Office Lead she coordinates and manages the activities of the front office team to ensure professional care and a pleasant experience for our patients. She also handles the billing and insurance demands for the practice. 

Depending on the day you may find Wendy in her office or helping patients at the front desk.  She has a flair for fashion and you’ll notice her scrubs are always perfectly pressed and accessorized!  Patients and staff alike can always count on her to provide support, including insurance and financial questions.

Wendy’s husband, Darin, is a teacher and has taught for over 34 years. They have one daughter, Zoey. Wendy’s hobbies include hiking, shopping, and spending time with friends. She and her husband also enjoy traveling to new restaurants and other local entities.

Cathy was raised in Crothersville, IN, graduated from Crothersville High School, and still resides in the community. Lucky for us, she has called Kirtley & Stuckwisch Dental her work home since 1994. 

Cathy began her career as a dental assistant. She now serves as a patient care coordinator. Possessing both skill sets makes her a tremendous asset to our practice. Her focus is on helping each patient get the care they need to achieve supreme oral health.

Outside of the office, Cathy likes to exercise, shop, spend time with her husband and their three sons, and spoil her grandkids! Many of our patients ask Cathy if she and Wendy, our Front Office Lead, are sisters. They are work family, but not biologically related!

Amy was born and raised in Seymour, IN.  She graduated from Seymour High School in 1992 and just recently made a career change and joined our practice as a patient care coordinator.

Amy loves meeting new people and never meets a stranger.  She enjoys conversing and learning new things from patients.  When you come into our office she will always welcome you with her bright and happy smile.

Amy and her husband James have two children, Jackson (married to Bri) and Abby. When not at the office she enjoys spending time with her entire family lounging by the pool, shopping, attending concerts and watching her daughter compete in college athletics.

With a strong foundation in financial management and a passion for accuracy, Brooke brings both expertise and efficiency to her role as billing analyst.  Brooke holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and International Business from IU Kelley School of Business and her MBA from Ball State University.

In her work, she specializes in ensuring precise billing, streamlining revenue cycles and supporting financial operations.  Driven, detail-oriented and solution focused she takes pride in contributing to a reliable and positive experience for both patients and internal teams.

Born and raised in Brownstown, Indiana, Brooke now resides in Seymour with her husband, Dr. Connor Kirtley.  Brooke has an infectious smile and a welcoming personality. Her hobbies include working out on the Peleton, trying out new restaurants, going on long walks and spending time with family and friends.

Laura was born and raised in Danville, Indiana, and moved to Seymour in 1988. She received her Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University School of Business - Indianapolis. She is the employee behind the scenes that takes care of the dental office’s bookkeeping and financial data.

Laura’s favorite part about her job is working with the staff and doctors who have a passion for improving the dental health of the community. The staff praises her for her party planning of fun and unique team-building events!  Laura is married to Dr. William Kirtley and is the mother of Andrew Kirtley JD and Connor Kirtley DDS.
