Dental Technology

Your enjoyable dental experience depends on your comfort and safety. Drs. Kirtley, Stuckwisch & Kirtley utilize the latest technological advances in dental equipment and techniques to ensure your satisfaction with your visit and continued excellent health.

Digital Radiographs (X-Rays)

Digital radiographs are a technological advancement that results in less exposure to radiation for our patients and an almost instantaneous picture for your doctor. You’ll appreciate a more comfortable visit as well as quicker treatment.

KaVo OP 3D Cone Beam

The OP 3D is an imaging unit designed for advanced dental imaging needs. This allows us to take high definition x-rays of your teeth, jaw bone, nerve pathways and soft tissues in your mouth, all in one short scan. Cone beam images are much more accurate and precise than traditional x-rays or even CT scanners. With the KaVo OP 3D our dentists can: provide bone and tissue evaluation (including sinuses, nasal cavities, nerves and jaw), detect fractures, potential tumors and cysts, diagnose temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ), orthodontic issues and so much more.

Intraoral Camera

An intraoral camera lets you see inside your mouth during both treatment planning and dental procedures. Our intraoral camera displays your teeth on a monitor or iPad, allowing your doctor to walk you through your proposed treatment. The use of this camera allows us to work with you as a team to meet your dental goals.

Sedation Dentistry

We want you to feel comfortable and confident about coming to visit us. For those who suffer from extreme anxiety, our office offers Sedation Dentistry as a safe and reliable way for you to feel relaxed. With extensive training in Sedation Dentistry, Drs. Kirtley, Stuckwisch & Kirtley offer you the most comfortable experience possible. If you have been putting off years of dental work, while living in pain or with embarrassing oral problems, sedation dentistry can change your life.
